Band Expanders The main thing to remember about this item is that its function depends upon the quality of the radio, local signal strength and whether or not you have an exterior aerial. As it changes the signal by an analogue method there will always be some loss in reception. If you do not have an exterior aerial you should think about either having one fitted or using a flexi aerial behind the radio itself, that will augment the signal strength enough to make it reasonable. Ours cost £15.00 and if you can buy three or more we'll make them £9.00. Please do not call us and ask why the display on the radio itself has not changed, think about it first.
Wiring it in could not be more simple, it has only one wire and that is for the live feed. The earth is taken care of through the co-ax shielding. Your pre-set memories can still be used with the device.
